Who has one?

What kind?

When did you get it?

Why do you like it (or not)?

I think I want one. I don’t have the slightest idea why, I just do.

I’d like to have something that is easily concealed, and I’d prefer it not be a Glock. I don’t have anything against the Glocks, I just don’t shoot them very well.

I’m finding limited options, but the search has just started.

Looking for advice, or to be talked out of it.

All comments welcome.

I had a M&P C that had a .40, 357Sig, and 9mm barrel. It was a great gun and shot all three calibers very well.

I carried it in 357Sig and did most of my plinking with the 9mm. Best of both worlds.

Only sold it to keep the lights on.

My second most favorite caliber. Not a lot of 357sig platforms available. If you can't find a factory 357sig get yourself a 40SW with a 357sig conversion barrel. I shoot P229, P30, XDM, and MP40 in 357 sig. Very accurate, uses cheaper .355 (9mm) bullets, reliable, and you can get some impressive velocity with hand loads ( 90 gr. at 1787 FPS and 125 at 1465 FPS). Not difficult to reload but must use a Lee factory crimp die to prevent bullet set back.

I like 357 Sig as well. For concealment a Sig P239 is probably as small an non-Glock as you are going to find. They don't make them anymore, but they can be found.

I had a sig P229R I got at Outdoor America. Loved it. Bad deal was ammo was expensive. 1300 FPS muzzle velocity with a standard 125 grain fmj round. Not bad for a 3.9 inch barrel. Loved the ergonomics of the P229.
