4 Gauge Shotgun *OUCH*

It's been sometime since I have fired cap lock or flintlock but I certainly don't recall that kind of recoil. .60 caliber is about the biggest I fired and I understand 4 gauge is a little over 1". Anyone else have any experience with these?

4 Gauge is 4 round ball to the pound or 1,750 Grains of lead at ??FPS
