The .45LC can be loaded to velocities above the .44 mag, but S&W pistols are not going to handle the pressure.
Tarus or Ruger is the only option.

Well, How de do! S&W finally realized their product was sub par for maximum magnum loads evidently.
Almost looks like a Tarus, but you can be assured I'll check it out more closely.

No wonder their stock prices this year went up 44% in a time of declining prices overall among the gun market.

Technically it is a .460. So .45 Colt, .454 Casull, and .460 S&W magnum will all run in it.

Love that versatility. That's one reason I loved the .454. If I were going to buy another hand cannon, I would probably look for a .460 for that reason. I can shoot .45 Colt all day long. The .454 (and, I'm sure, .460) not so much.
