My only .44 Special is this Smith Model of 1950 .44 Military. Only ever shot .44 Magnum in my M29s and Super Blackhawks but I’m really anxious to get this one to the range.

I had a Ruger GP-100 .44 SPL. Somebody on here bought it off me. Never got to fire it.

Heck. You missed out. I think you ought to find another 44 spl. Just for the experience. They are a dream to shoot. Just like the overlooked 41 mag.

The 44 Special is a great shooting round.

I enjoy shooting 44SP from my 629 (no dash). Still have some reloads that I made back in the late 80's that shoot great. They are also fun to shoot out of my Winchester 94 Trapper too.
