Anyone have a source for a 45/70 load for a 500gr jacketed round nose. I am looking for trapdoor type loads to shoot from my TC pistol. I am shooting 485gr cast now but I want to give the 500's a try. I just do not want to tear up my frame, my hands will heal up. 
The only powder I DO NOT want to use is black powder. I just hate cleaning that stuff.
The 485gr cast are being loaded with IMR 3031, they boom but are not so bad. I have some 350 jacketed hollow points to try as soon as this wind slows a bit.
My deer load is a 410gr cast hollow base that is wicked accurate at 75 yds. I loaded them with Varget but am out right now. Here is a picture of my cousin shooting the 410 load, he loves them. Neat how you can see the smoke from the side of the muzzle tamer.
