Don't need much. Could use about 40 rounds or brass.

If you get desperate for brass, you could cut down .300 win mag brass which is available and probably cheaper even.

I'm pretty sure the belt is wider on a 450 marlin. Not saying it wouldn't work but the headspace could be an issue.

Yeah .300wm is .532 base and belt and the 450 is .529. We didn't have any issues with the 20 rounds we made.
