Got a used one recently. Just shot it for the first time at H&H. At first I shot some .45 Colt ammo loaded pretty heavy. It felt almost exactly like my .44 Mag Redhawks. Then I shot three rounds of the .454 stuff. Oh mommy! I am not very recoil sensitive, but I foresee not too much plinking with loads this stout. I may carry it during gun deer season this fall in case some unsuspecting trophey comes in close enough for a pistol shot. I did shoot some Winchester .45 Colt rounds. They were very mild. Anyone else shooting this little cannon? Always wanted one and found a member here who was willing to sell his. Nice gun with a Weaver 2x scope. I think I'll research a light load for practice when the brass I ordered comes in. Only concern is will the light load shoot in the same place as the heavy hunting loads? We'll see. Taking it out to Banner road one day next week along with my muzzleloader to see what it'll do for me at 50 yards.
