[QUOTE="SlugSlinger, post: 3362116, member: 7248"] This caught me a little sideways so I looked it up. In an effort to boost market and get rid of the stigma, Fiat Chrysler changed the name from Dodge Ram to just Ram. This is just a marketing effort. Manufacturing did not change. The last I checked, in 2017, the trucks were made in Mexico. [LIST] [*]RAM It’s All in the Name! On November 4th 2009 Chrysler Group LLC announced the Ram branded trucks will official change the name from Dodge RAM to “RAM”. With this change Dodge separated the Dodge brand and created a whole new lifestyle of trucks that are in its 4th generation of trucks. The logo features the well known head of a ram on the grill.
