Just ordered 400 of the Berger 77 grain OTMT bullets. I have some 4064 on hand and I've seen CFE223 and H335 on occasion I can pick up.

Just curious of the 3 anyone has used to shoot these heavy bullets. Barrel is 18" 1-7

Thanks in advance OSA

This data is based on a Sierra 77 grain HPBT which should be very close to Bergers bullet. For best results you should email Berger and ask them for load data for their 77 grain OTM bullet. They have always been very accommodating when I’ve contacted them.

Thank you. I'll do that.

I found a very nice load with CFE223 with 77gr SMK's (when I could find them). I've got a pound of H335 but haven't tried it yet. Thus far, all of my heavier 223's have done well with CFE.

Yep, CFE-223 is definitely going to outperform H335 in that bullet weight...however don't forget how temperature sensitive CFE-223 is (don't run up to pressure signs in the winter and then try that load in the summer...you'll get into trouble quickly).

Best of luck.

CFE would be tops of the 3. I've settled on ramshot tac. I'll make the offer to if you have an empty container I'll give you some to try and my load data. H&H had some tac in stock but unless I misread the label it was $61 a pound.
