I would probably answered my own question if i would have looked at all my primers.

What kind of fps changes were you getting from primer changes?

When we had the primer shortage many moons ago, I used magnum primers when regular primers were in the recipe. Just backed off the powder a bit, and carried on.

I did the same thing and didnt notice much of a fps change on whatever it was I was loading. I dont remember what it was.

I think this was BLC2 powder.
I have tested the same primers with H4895 and the spread was not near as much.
