I am with you there.
I have not shot but 5 of those 140's from this Creedmoor
And that is the above group I got with those first 5.
I was playing with 129 gr stuff but could not get those to hold together with a good group at 200 yards.
My .308 .223,.243 and 30-06 will shoot 3X better at 200.
I hope these pan out.

I will miss the A-Max bullets when they are gone from my stash.

I shot the same load but played with seating depths and 200 yards.
I should have not even pulled the trigger yesterday on these shots I just could not hold still very well.
Rickety plastic 4 legged table.
But I figured I could at least tell if seating depths made any difference in this load.

If it does it isn't much as far as hunting round goes.
Little bit less drop seated longer but again that could be the shooter.
I will probable neck turn this brass and see if I can improve the load.
It may even be It does not like the powder charge.
Circled group on the left is the 6.5 Creedmoor seating depths.
2.810" ... 2.841".... 2.870" that bullet gets a slight witness mark in the chamber at 2.860"
I see vertical stringing some of which was my hold on the rickety bench and it may want a different powder charge.

I measure neck ID after firing and I get .001" larger than bullet diameter a bit tight.
One case in the bunch is bullet diameter after firing and I can insert a 140 AMax into the fired case and can't shake the bullet out
by hand.
A bit tight.. Neck turning will begin today.

This load drops 3.7" from my 100 yard target.

The bullet holes on the right are .308 loads with 168A max marked as 2
and those drop 3.6" at 200 and the other was 155A max and it dropped 2.95"

Lots of fliers yesterday..I must share the ugly you know.
I have not shot my .243 since I let my friend use it for deer season.
I got it out and seen a rusty bolt/filthy chamber and scope power knob is crunchy.
Shooting 1.5 feet high and over a foot to the right.
Ouch!
I had 3 bullets left out of 5 and got it close.

I don't know what you were using for your 130 grain 6.5 CM loads but this one works great for me.
These were with 130 grain Sierra Gamechangers.

My rifle likes the 140 grain Berger Elite hunters when you run out of the 140 grain Hornady's

I had never had a custom rifle until this last 2 years and now I don't know if I will ever try factory again. Jon Beanland will change your view on accuracy with everything he builds. I plan on getting this fellow with the 6.5 CM or my 45 cal. SML this year.

Let him pass last year and have seen him alive and healthy this year. No passes will be handed out this year!

I would give credit to Jon Beanland‘s skill as a custom builder too.
