What ammo would be a good choice for deer hunting using the 6.5 grendel?
Then where would be a good choice to get some?

I have some Hornady BLACK ammo, and dont think that is a good choice.

thanks
Not sure how far you plan on shooting your deer but the Hornady black will do fine if you can hit your shots. Not you, but I'm always curious about pass through shots they blame on losing their deer/doe/buck....yada, yada. If you wait and take the shot you need (and you can hit) you're good. If not, a cannon won't help. Also folks need to know how to track a blood trail. I know people that if the deer didn't drag itself to the truck and jumped in (with it's dying breath) they lost it because of a through and through and won't even slog through some brush to look. Sometimes you got to go quite a ways to find them but you missed your mark and that's the way it is.
I am not talking about you at all Okie but I find dead deer often with arrows through their hind quarters. As for the deer that were shot poorly, the hogs and coyotes get them quickly.
I think I'll shut up now. Okie your a good shooter. The black box is fine.
