[QUOTE="zghorner, post: 3107251, member: 35089"] nice gun man although i prefer rifle stocks to carbine stocks especially on distance guns. great caliber. I was about to pull the trigger on an AR10 and a forum member talked me into the Grendel. One of my big hang-ups on the 10 was the proprietary BS between different companies so the biggest selling point for me was the ability to retain most of the regular AR15 parts. I had hell at first with FTE even after I put an adjustable gas block on but recently added an o-ring to the extractor spring and all of my woes have been cured. I have rang steel at 1,000yd (something I never thought I would do) and the steel at fouled bore 500 yd and nearer is child's play. Best part about it is instead of racking a bolt all I have to do is squeeze the trigger again. here is mine. Nothing too fancy Red X upper that came with a ton of hornady ammo I traded Some AK stuff for. I added the Luth-ar stock to a lower I already had and away I went. On a side note...I love the way the Luth stock looks but I really don't think it is worth the money at least for me. My next Grendel will be getting a plain a2 rifle stock or magpul MOE.
