7.62x39 10 inch barrel, help

Buddy of mine got a 10.5 350 legend BCA upper, biggest pos ever. We tried everything to get it to run and oycle target ammo but it wouldn’t. We opened up the gas port to just under 1/8” and it still wouldn’t run so it went away.

I figured it out and applying for a patent has nothing to do with the magazines

After build several AR 15 and AR 10's. it all comes down to how it functions. from what in reading its a failure to extract. Im gust guessing but it does sound like it is under or over gassed. Adjustable gas block is where i would start to slow it down. if it is under gassed it could be the gas port in the barrel. the most comin thing to over look during a build is to inspect all ports.
