I’m assuming AR platform. There is nothing 7.62x39 will do that 300BLK won’t do as well or better. The only advantage 7.62x39 has is cheap a$$ ammo. And the “Good” stuff is just as high as the similar performing 300BLK ammo. The only thing you need to change a 223 AR to a 300 BLK is a barrel. No need for another bolt, odd and lower capacity magazines, having to find the right trigger/spring and extended firing pin combo to make that cheap a$$ ammo that was so “desirable” because of the price work reliably, etc. All that said, I have the parts and ammo for a 7.62x39 that I need to put together. Because I just wanted to cover a caliber I don’t now own. I think 6.8SPC or 6.5 Grendel is the right way to go for hogs if you think you need more ump in a AR platform without reloading the ammo. How many rounds do you fire a year out of an AR15 now? I didn’t fire more than 500 rifle caliber out of mine in the last year. Likely less. (Probably a couple thousand pistol caliber)
