I started with an 870 Super Mag with a broken ejector housing. A replacement housing is not available. I found one in Canada but by the time I reached my Canada connection, they were out of stock. I will be welding two regular housings together to make one. More on that later.
Next- Take an 870 Express barrel I bought from another member. Cut down to the next rib past 18". Ream for Rem-choke. Cut threads for Tactical Rem-Choke. Pull bead off barrel and install on shortened barrel. I'll be installing a rail on the receiver then porting the barrel and adding an extension.
