I picked mine up today from Classic Arms. I am having fun with serial numbers. The # on the invoice doesn't match the # that my FFL documented, which doesn't match the # on the rifle. I wonder who should care the most. I will post pictures eventually (sometime after I hijack this thread). Now I am a little disappointed as their website states, "All boxes will be placed in a protective outer box before shipping so that you may maintain the histoic collectability of your rifle the same way it came into the country." Well the assholes forgot my protective outer box, so now my non-descript white box is all beat up and looks like crap. No real big deal, but the "original" box is a little flimsy for shipping and plus they went out of their way to say how they were going to pack it, then they missed. It is a 1943 Izhevsk, numbers matching. The scope serial on the side of the receiver, but # on scope mount does not match rifle. Personally I think it beats electro-pencil on the mount. Bore is decent but I need to take a closer look. In general a little wear, tear and some refurb, but looks good.
