I put more rounds down range this weekend than I have in a long time. My son in law and I spent the better part of Saturday testing loads, sighting in rifles and running self defense drills with various pistols. I got a couple of my rifles chronographed (thanks to GMAR). All in all, Saturday was a real good day. Then after thoroughly cleaning my elk rifle, I went out today to start logging and charting shots. I decided to take this AR out to sight it in since I built it a year ago and had never fired it. After getting it zeroed at 100 yds, I tested a few factory loads. Blackhills 52 gr HP, Hornady 55 gr V-Max, and Winchester Ranger 64 gr power points. All shot sub 1” groups but I put 3 shots of the Hornady through the same hole. I’m thinking this one is a keeper!
