Have you tried using the suction cups on your helmet? hehe Seriously, I don't know why no one has come up with a way to attach it to your helmet. I guess there's a chance that the new Sticker type pike pass that they have now would work perfectly if you took the padding out of the helmet and stuck the Pike Pass sticker to the inside of the helmet shell, put your padding back in and go on your way. I mean really, the sensors don't have eyeballs to "See" the pike pass, so there's nothing magical about the windshield being "See through". I have mine mounted in my motorcycle dash under a layer of windscreen and a layer of bodywork and it works perfectly. I don't know why it wouldn't work inside the helmet unless bending the sticker is an issue. I've torn down many football helmets and pulled out the hard styrofoam, but I've never tried to remove the styrofoam from a motorcycle helmet. It may not come out. even if it didn't I think it would be worth testing, by temporarily putting the sticker under the padding to see if it worked.
