Even if I could've hunted today, after 8 (minus 1 where i saw a doe and a fawn) sits of not seeing anything, I'm about to throw in the towel on deer and just chase stupid birds

I bet they're not moving until it warms up. Seen -17 on a mesonet site, so being in the river bottom I'm sure it's pretty accurate.

The river is literally 25 yards behind the feeder in the picture I posted yesterday, and I guess there were no pictures because nothing was moving. A couple cameras are back to sending.

Well, trip canceled. Hunting buddy just bought 4 heifers, so we are headed to Agra to pick them up.

Hunted yesterday morning and evening. Great hunts. Load eyes on my primo for the first time this season yesterday evening. 62 yards and some overly numb hands! Hopefully he makes the same mistake twice. :-)

Driving around scouting for ducks this evening, deer out everywhere. Lot's of cut milo and corn next to wheat..............not one deer in the milo or corn, wheat eaters galore.

So, I'm sitting in the blind after a 3/4 mile ride on an ATC, then a 1/4 mile walk on foot to the blind in sub freezing temps.
I get this from the wife sitting in her recliner out the front window.
