Now those are some beautiful weapons, for sure. But I personally wouldn't want to own a 1911 that I wouldn't dare take to the range and shoot the sh*t out of. But I guess that is because I see firearms more as 'tools' than as collector items. Just the way I was raised, I guess.

The Texas Ranger gun museum in Waco Tx has the greatest collection of engraved 1911 BBQ guns I've seen. There may be better collections elsewhere, but I haven't had the pleasure to visit them yet.

Chuckie, what makes you think it's not going to get shot? I don't have enough money to buy a gun and sit it up and say Boy ain't that Pretty. Joel and I have already shot the 1914.
There's a good chance it will be carried, depends on how it shoots.
Those are some nice pistols, keep them coming.
