[QUOTE="randallss7, post: 2040310, member: 24507"] I had a guy ask me about making a tiny axe, I wasn't very interested really, but yesterday I was digging through some old boxes of crap I refuse to throw away, looking for a screw jack i wanted to use for a different project and came across some old industrial quality mower blades. When I remembered I had them I was like BAM I can make a tiny hatchet out of this. The handle is Arizona Iron wood the blade is lawn mower blade...lol. I actually tested the blade before I used it by annealing it then re-hardening it to make sure it was a steel I could use. Ground the head on a loose belt for a convex grind and sharpened at 25 degrees this thing will shave hair right now.
