It's usually around $21.99 or so per box so I bought a few boxes to have around. I'm really happy that Academy opened up a store here in Yukon near me and that they always have a boatload of 9mm and .22lr ammo on hand too. CCI 36 gr Mini Mags (with that Troy Dude who "choots" Alligators) at $24.99 per 300...that's a very good price for CCI. I prefer the 40 gr solids myself but really, I can't tell any significant difference out of my .22 handguns.
Academy in Yukon has Federal Champion 9mm, 115 gr FMJ for $10.99 per box. They had quite a bit on the shelves awhile ago; a bit less now since I've been there though. I also picked up some Hornady XTP 124 gr +P 9mm for $16.99 per box of 25. It's usually around $21.99 or so per box so I bought a few boxes to have around. I'm really happy that Academy opened up a store here in Yukon near me and that they always have a boatload of 9mm and .22lr ammo on hand too. Tons of CCI Standard Velocity for $3.99 per box of 50; my bolt action gun's favorite food. CCI 36 gr Mini Mags (with that Troy Dude who "choots" Alligators) at $24.99 per 300...that's a very good price for CCI. I prefer the 40 gr solids myself but really, I can't tell any significant difference out of my .22 handguns. I suppose if I was a top-shelf-shooter, I might, but for an old redneck with a bum leg and bad eyes, it's fine. They were well stocked with pretty much every caliber. Bought some more .380 for the Wifey too and then got out before she beat me for spending too much on ammo. You wanna know what she said? She said; "Let's go you old fool, you have plenty of ammo at home already". Ha! Plenty of ammo! What the heck is that? That's like saying you have plenty of bacon. Or money; yeah, it's like saying you have plenty of money. What the heck good is money? It's needed to buy bacon and ammo is what. And I damn sure don't have plenty of either. Duh.
