He was a good one especially as a bad guy. RIP Bill.

Not only was he a pretty good actor, Smith was also something of a scholar as well. He spoke Russian and a few other languages as well. His speech in Russian in RD so good because he already knew the language.

Just the times I can think of, for a tough guy he got beat up a lot

I remember him as Joe on "The Texas Rangers" western tv series when I was a kid.

I remember him in a one hour/weekly tv western called “Laredo”.

If you check out William's bio he was one bad dude. Champion boxer and weight lifter, very fit. Very few movie stars could have whipped him in real life.

He has a role in the long ago tv mini series Rich Man, Poor Man also. He was great at being the heavy in many shows.
