Everything Federal came in a red box with that kind of lettering in the mid 1970s. Don't know when it started or when it ended. In the late 70s they switched the name Federal to cursive lettering. I don't have a book in front of me, I'm just remembering, or trying to.

Googlefu seems to indicate the Monark brand was used in the 50s to early 60s.
