When I was in my 20's people told me I was an alcoholic. Whatever. I just liked to drink. I walked home from the OKC Fair one day and I lived in Spencer. I told the wife I did not want to go to the Fair etc etc . Anyway when I got to Douglas and 36th street I went into the store there to get some beer and thought FOOL you are dehydrated and drinking will only make it worse. I got a 20 oz. DR Pepper and a Snickers. Much better. Do not cut the sugars out and beer or booze at the same time. I see nothing wrong with 1 soda a day and some chocolate. Drink plenty of water during the day. I worked at FAA for 10 years and ate a sandwich and a soda and candy bar for lunch every day for a couple years. I wore 30-36 pants then and was that size for a few years. I decided to eat healthier and cut out all the soda and no more candy bar instead I had water and 2 pieces of fruit with my sandwich. Orange , apple or banana . Wow what a mistake that was in just a couple months I had to go to 32-36 pants. Fruit is not the answer. I have seen others get fat on fruit you must watch it on that. I used to drink every day and now I drink less than 30 a year. I seen all the old guys around me start looking really old and getting weaker and weaker. I did not want to get to their condition. My dad and his dad were both alcoholics and mean and drank at work and home. I am more concerned with my health than I am wanting to get a buzz. I do not need a buzz off anything as I am not trying to escape anything. I disowned my parents and siblings and life is GOOD. Good luck to you.
