hwy 88 between oloogah and claremore is closed due to sweetwater creek flooding.

And we just received close to an inch in about 15 minutes with more on the way. No worry about rivers or creaks where we are but that inch is just sitting on top of the ground.

Whooooho! Got water back today. 14 days without running water. Well is fixed, poured two gallons of bleach in it and ran it to the house until we smelled the bleach.
Let it sit in the pipes for an hour and ran the faucets until there was no bleach smell.
Still can’t drink it, as there is a 6 day waiting period after disinfecting a well before they can test for bacteria according to DEQ.
But we can flush toilets without bucketing water from the pool, shower and wash clothes now.
Friends have been letting us shower and bottled drinking water for cooking and hand washing.
Life is getting better!
