That grip for the Colt Detective Special is a Hogue, NOT a Pachmayr. And it kinda looks a little small for a Colt D frame revolver. I could be wrong, but...

Well don’t I feel silly! Good eye. They came in that package when I bought this gun and I never really gave them a look. I’ve seen the same grips as what is on the gun now on several of these DS’s with the same grips. I assumed they came on it. They don’t have the screw in the middle like the other grips. Just one in the bottom? Thank you for speaking up!

Yeah, Hogue uses a metal stirrup that clips over the pin on the butt of the grip and secures with a screw.
