There is a thread dealing with neighbors who don't care where their dogs do their business. There was at least one suggestion that the dog be poisoned. I responded with a negative comment. Here is a link that might clarify the legal ramifications of such an action, not including any civil liability that might apply: http://www.ok.gov/~okag/forms/ogc/anc.pdf The whole statute is interesting, but the poisonong aspect is as follows: § 1681. Poisoning Animals. Any person who willfully administers poison to any animal, the property of another, and every person who maliciously exposes any poisonous substance with intent that the same shall be taken by any such animal shall be guilty of a felony and shall be punishable by imprisonment in the State Penitentiary not exceeding three (3) years, or in a county jail not exceeding one (1) year, or by a fine not exceeding Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00), or by both such fine and imprisonment. As I read this, just setting the poison out, even if the dog doesn't drink it, qualifies. Like other laws, one may support it or not, but that doesn't chnge the law. I support this one. CB
