Another crazy price increase

I’ve been getting my 28g ammo at Walmart and cabelas. The Federal at WM was 12.86 and the Herters at cabelas was 12.99. I shot some skeet yesterday and needed to pick up a few boxes. I can usually find some when I need it. Cabelas had the Herters at 21.99! I just got some a couple weeks ago at the old price. I walked out empty handed.

The prices on HVAC equipment and ductwork is getting crazy if you can get it. I was told a 3 week lead time on some radiant tube heaters first of November . I have yet to have them delivered. Fortunately the guy owns a body shop and feels the pain about getting stuff also. I’ve been paid in full for the job, which I normally don’t prefer, but he needed to spend the money before years end.

Just got home from Wichita Falls gun show. Decent show, several private ssllers, a few gougers .

Seen a table with CCI #41 BR Primers $35 per 100.
5.7x28 ammo $2 per round

Model 19 4" nickel from 1974 was $ 900
I probably should have bought it.

At Braums, Whipped cream in the can was $2.69 last year and is now $3.69. That is a 37% increase.

That must be a mistake. I thought we were only seeing 8% inflation on an annual basis. At least that’s what the .gov is telling us.
