Dallas police searching for man who abandoned dog on country road

The Dallas Police Department is searching for the man who was recently caught on video abandoning his German shepherd on a country road, even as a bystander yelled at him to stop.

Although, could this actually be an act of mercy rather than the dog living its life in an abusive home? At least someone picked up the dog!
