Its windy in Oklahoma because Texas sucks and Kansas blows.
We got a little shake over in west BA. Nothing at all like we were getting in the central part of the state about ten years ago.How was that earthquake we just had.... what was it.... last week? My building shook pretty good.
there's that famous building that was rotated in Indy.
the workers inside said they never felt it move. say it took 30 days to move the whole building 90 deg at 15 inches per hour.
Back when working at the power plant, I was part of the environmental team that monitored stack emissions among other responsibilities. All the instruments were on the stack at the 250' level. With a 30 mph wind the sway was really noticeable with a 5" or more sway. At 35 mph the safety guys wouldn't let us go up. The stacks survived an F5 tornado that passed a couple miles away in the 80's and several smaller tornados in the years after that. Would not have been a good time to be up there.
Worst day yet since I’ve started watching the building sway. And the building is creaking like crazy.

...what used to be called the Liberty National Bank tower in OKC had a lot more sway than that. It is 36 floors...how many floors in your building?
