Looking for someone who has a turkey fryer/dutch oven or other lead smelting setup that I can use or rent. I have half a 5-gallon bucket of range scrap that I want to ingot-ize, and am just too cheap to go buy the whole setup for just one use, so I was hoping I might be able to "rent" one from an OSA'er, or maybe chip in on propane and join someone during one of their own melt-down days.

Prefer someone up on the north side of the state (I'm in Enid), if possible.

Thanks!

I use a Coleman camp stove. I'd image a cheap gas grill would do quite well also. You might be able to find one at a goodwill or garage sale cheap. For a pot I just have a small heavy kitchen pot.

You can melt lead in a coffee can or any tin can on a coleman stove. If you are just gonna make ingots it wouldn't matter much. I cast a lot of bullets useing an old sauce pane that the handle was broken off of. Found it in a dump.
