Howdy all, long time lurker- first time poster. Just looked over this thread and wanted to mention that there has been no repeal (that I know about) regarding Article 2, Section 26 of Oklahoma Constitution, which talks about the right of Okla citizens to keep and bear arms shall never be prohibited.

Just looked over this thread and wanted to mention that there has been no repeal (that I know about) regarding Article 2, Section 26 of Oklahoma Constitution, which talks about the right of Okla citizens to keep and bear arms shall never be prohibited.

Article II, Section 26 also states "but nothing herein contained shall prevent the Legislature from regulating the carrying of weapons." Additionally, the Oklahoma Supreme Court has upheld this clause.

Died in conference committee after passing both chambers overwhelmingly. Wasn't allowed to return for final vote.
