Couldn’t tell on my phone (small screen) but now that I’m using a larger one I think you can stop “guessing” and say with confidence it was proofed at BPH.

You can certainly try the guys at TFF, couldn’t hurt.

Thanks, but it’s the smaller one that has me bumfuzzled.

There is a previous owners name and serial number on scratched onto the barrel. I found him on family search website, immigrant from Germany, was a clothing salesman in Indiana and San Diego, but never had any children. So that’s a dead end.
