i need a kydex sheath for the knife I made. There are some leather ones on amazon but I prefer kydex. Any help would be appreciated.

If you can make a knife, you can press kydex. I started with an oxy/acetylene torch with a few layers of carpet pad and a 2x12 to stand on it with. Attention to detail is more important than fancy presses. You got this.

I wouldn't mind buying the setup, I just don't have an attention span at this time to learn. Is there a class for learning this?

A couple of YouTube videos would make you an expert. Heat the kydex, wrap the blade in hot kydex, use press of some sort. After that, cut and trim to shape then put a few rivets or eyelets where you see fit. Here’s one of the last ones I pressed.

lol it seems the things I over simplify tend to be more difficult. I thought it would be easy but I wasn't sure. Can you recommend a kit or where to buy the supplies?

Here is what I used frequently. Practice with anvil and hammer setting eyelets. It sucks drilling them out to replace them after you mash them flat with your goon hand. The foam I glued to some 3/4 plywood I had laying around. I used a 2x4 and a piano hinge to finish the press. Or just buy the one they have $120.00. Any 20 dollar heat gun from Home Depot or Lowes will do the job. I’ve heard of people heating their kydex with a toaster oven also.
