Any of you Licensed Architects?

Went to get permits to build a storage building and was told I need to have an architect stamp/sign off on my plans saying the building will be structurally sound. pretty annoying honestly its just a simple pole barn style building, 12ft in the front, 10ft in the back 36ft deep and 120ft long used for enclosed storage of boats and vehicles.

with that shallow of a slope, I would think you would get leaks easier.

What kind of roofing is rated for that slope? What size rafters span that distance?

2'/36' = 1/18 = 5.6% slope.
Fine for water flow, could be an issue for the occasional heavy snow here in OK. But that depends on how you are supporting the roof.

Do you have blue-prints for this? ...or more correctly, did someone else design the pole-barn and publish the plans?
