Ever see Adam from Mythbusters at Comicon in costume?

He makes his own and walks around trying to keep people from recognizing him.

He has been Chewbacca, Astronaut from 2001 A Space Odyssey,and Alien, Judge Dredd, King Aurthur, and Hellboy.

Last year he paid respects to Wiley Post.

While cosplay does have a lot of T&A, it also has some really talented people. Many call themselves artist and for most I agree.

Way back in time I was a very active member of The Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA).

Basically we were a bunch of 20-30-40 year olds who liked to dress up and pretend we were medieval warriors and such like.

When my USAF buddies asked me why inna heck I participated in such foolishness,,,
I simply told them that it was the most "target rich" environment I had ever seen.

During the week she is a prim and proper elementary school teacher named Mary,,,
But on the weekends she is Kahina de Habia al Elat,,,
The hottest (and horniest) belly dancer in the Harem.

That was over 40 years ago,,,
I still have ultra-fond memories of those weekends in "garb".

So laugh and chuckle all you want about cosplay,,,
They may be nerds but they are not going celibate out there.
