Any T/C Contender Shooters Out There?

Howdy Ya'll, from The Catoosa area;
I'm looking to get a 14"-15" .22 K Hornet barrel for my gen 1 T/C. Any thoughts on the best twist rate for this little hot-rod?

I have fun with the cast boolit and 2.5 gn red dot.

I do not know what the factory twist rate is!
My guess would be 1:14 is standard.

That gives me pause...I have a .222 built on a small Martini action, with a Hart heavy stainless barrel. LOVE IT! What bullet weights have you used?

I've had a couple Hornets never could get the bullets to stabilize. Right now my favorite is the 6.8spc and of course the 357 maximum.

I've been hoarding a box of new 357 Max brass for 2 or 3 years now! I've heard that the K-Hornet shoots a little better, because of the higher velocity.

I tried lots of bullets when I first got it. Can’t remember which ones.

I settled on Sierra 52 gr hpbt matchking. It shot the best. I forget the charge weight of 2400 that I use. I would have to look it up.

I've got a few different calibers but haven't reloaded for them except the 223. 357 mag, 44 mag, 223, 22 hornet. Have 7 mm mag and 50 cal muzzleloader in the encore frame.i have the 22 rimfire insert for the 223.

I shoot mainly 55 gr. in the Hornet
In my 222 RMI I go with 62 gr.
