It doesn't.
222 Rem Mag SAAMI = 50,000 PSI
30-30 SAAMI = 42,000 PSI

Due to the limitations of the breechthrust tolerances of the contender's design, the smaller casehead of the 222 family allows for the higher pressures to be utilized with no ill effect.

I've got a few different calibers but haven't reloaded for them except the 223. 357 mag, 44 mag, 223, 22 hornet. Have 7 mm mag and 50 cal muzzleloader in the encore frame.i have the 22 rimfire insert for the 223.
