That's a little before my time. I had to look up the quote to figure out what you were going on about. (when that song was a thing, I was more into country music. or really, just whatever my mom played on the radio while driving me around. )

Interesting. Does the recoil pad add to the length of pull over a regular buttstock?

I have loooong arms and haven't had any luck finding an inexpensive way to add to LOP on my ARs.
