Well, not gun cool, but pretty cool just the same.
My mom passed away a couple years ago. She had an old bank safe that was my grandmother from waaaayyyy back, like ‘20s or ‘30s, but nobody had the combination. Well, I found the combination this weekend and got the safe open. I thought I hit the jackpot when I saw this pistol box, but no such luck because, no pistol. Still, the box is in near mint condition with all of the original paperwork in it. It’ll be a nice display piece.
Another notable item was my grandpa‘s beaver derby hat. He passed away in ‘69, so it has been in the safe since then.
