Still considering buying the Henry lever action 410. I've not been able to shoot for months. I want to, but just haven't been able to. I planned on shooting my 223/556 long ranger Henry lever action (with side gate.....and compass in the stock.....Ha), but been in bed for two days and it was around 70 here today.

I’ll have to get a better picture of the scope but I found a old Weaver wide view adjustable objective 3-9 scope and picked it up for my old 1968 Winchester 70 in 243. I have wanted a nice clear vintage scope for it for a while and now it has one.

I like that setup, I want to find nice 243 for varmints and to hand down to my grandson later, I'll have to start looking!

Thanks, I got the rifle on here last year. It was not as nice looking then, I had to touch up the bluing and the old stock was beat to hell. I found a long action 30-06 (this 243 is LA too) in the super grade stock at a pawn shop cheap and bought it for the stock and a couple other parts. Sold it with my old stock and re finished and bedded this stock. I wouldn’t have put the time or money into it this gun but it shoots a ragged hole with about any 100gr bullet I put in it even my so-so handloads.

Picked up a scope mount, an extra 100 round magazine and an EoTech for my Calico.....I had one of these years ago....Great and fun to shoot.....never any issues no matter how fast I pulled the trigger....I wish I hadn't sold it but thats not the 1st time I've sold something and regretted it later.....I picked this one up a few months ago.....ordered the mount and extra mag from Calico (it took 2 months to receive).....here are a couple of pics

Plinking at the range today finding 30 rounds of .218 Bee.
Must not have been a reloader to leave that brass on the ground.
Edit: what I have found out from some an astute observer on OSA, @DRC458, is that they are actually a very rare breed.
They are actually the .218 Mashburn fireformed from the .218 Bee.
We have some folks on here that are really knowledgeable.
