New woods/boat gun. I had been looking for one since I sold my full size DAK P220. I carry DAK guns but prefer DA/SA for the woods. My attention had been focused on a new P220 10mm DA/SA but the cost was high ($1235.) I really like snake shot and there is no better caliber than .45 ACP for that. So, before ordering the 10mm, I looked and found a .45 that I liked. Still get to use my snake shot and get a lighter gun with the aluminum frame. Plus, keeps from having to get another batch of ammo for a different caliber. It's a special run from Davidson's. They were pretty much all sold out from all dealers a couple years ago but I did find one new one left and ordered it. I liked it because it has the Elite slide with forward serrations. It also has the Combat frame with true Pic rail (although I'll probably never use it.) It is a 2-tone which is sorta fugly but the frame is anodized instead of painted on. At least it won't be peeling with a lot of hard use.But what I really liked about it was the fact it was less than $600 including shipping and transfer fee.
