Anybody Like Racing/ Chase Scene Movies

I like a good car chase or racing movie. My wife gave me Ford vs Ferrari for Christmas and then she ordered in Grand Prix, Winning, and Red Line 7000. Of course Bullet will always be number one . Baby Driver is pretty good also. List some of the ones you like.

May be heresy, but I really like the original Smokey and the Bandit --- a chase scene for most of the movie!

LeMans is another great racing movie.

Not a racing movie but the chase in The Blues Brothers is a favorite of mine.

I had to check my list . I have Rush that is pretty good show. I'm thinking the movie Ronin had a pretty good chase scene in it.

The original Gone In 60 Seconds with H.B. Halicki has a whale of a chase scene. No CGI and very little practical F/X, just real cars getting beat to hell on the streets of LA. During the big chase in Eleanor, Halicki hits a light pole--that wasn't staged, he just lost control and hit the pole, and they kept the footage in the film.

I rewatched Ronin a few months ago. I remember liking it a lot the first time I saw it, but it didn't really hold up all that well, IMHO.

Le Mans is a great movie. One thing I really like about it is the 917 Porsche . A beast of a race car . 1200 H.P. flat 12 cylinder motor.

I'm surprised nobody brought up Vanishing Point. They made two of them. I like the early one best.
