LOL! exactly why I dont advertise what I got for SHTF situations.. There's always some sniper around the corner who can pick me off 1000yds away.. Me and the wifes packs are 35 & 28 lbs respectively.. Minus ammo cans. (have room for 2) And we've hiked them 6 miles in and out of the woods and know we could do it for real. I think thats the big thing you gotta look at as well, the practical. Take it for a test run (just like a new car) and see if you like it or could even manage it. Then think about trying to manage it with a sprained ankle, twisted knee, etc, etc.. I see that some have "tactical vests" listed.. What about tactical body armor vests or helmets? Just curious, I mean, if we are gonna go "all out" survival.. And what about dogs? I have a dane and mastiff that can tote as well, has anyone ever gone as far as harnessing them up to carry loads? We also have a chihuahua, she would be for emergency food rations only..
