Then considering the age of those lures and fly rod, that is even more wonderful that you are still able to use those lures, and that aluminum fly rod holder - priceless! Speaking of which, how are the ends attached on that holder?

There are spring loaded buttons on the tube and a hole in the cap.

I just had to look up aluminum fly rod cases, and came up with these. They are any length you want with a padded screw on lid...

I keep mine in a piece of pvc pipe, padded on both ends with a screw on cap
