My apology Dennis, I don't know why I was thinking you said your dad. Then considering the age of those lures and fly rod, that is even more wonderful that you are still able to use those lures, and that aluminum fly rod holder - priceless! Speaking of which, how are the ends attached on that holder?

There are spring loaded buttons on the tube and a hole in the cap.

I just had to look up aluminum fly rod cases, and came up with these. They are any length you want with a padded screw on lid...

I keep mine in a piece of pvc pipe, padded on both ends with a screw on cap
