Anyone into Axe's

Here is one of mine. It is a H&B Forged hand made Spike. I met a guy years ago that is a Pro at Parachute Cord Stuff, had him wrap it and he installs the shock proof somehow on the handle part and puts a wrist lanyard on them. I bought this one off here in the Classifieds years ago.

I have a double bit axe, and a hatchet.

Axe is similar to this one.

They use type 1095 steel in the hawk and axe bits, which runs down the center of the blade. That is wrapped with 1018 steel.

Bought this German Felling Axe from Garrett Wade, made the blade cover from and old piece hard rubber, it did not take to bending well but covers the blade price was right.

I found their web page but did not find the blade materal, they do some great work just one man does the forging.

Here is a Cold Steel one, a fellow member here @zghorner gifted me years ago for helping him get a inboard boat engine running and helping him. What a nice thanks it was! He is a great member here too! It sits beside my bed, so I can grab it with my pistola if need! Thanks again @zghorner!!

We have the same taste in footwear although I dress mine up a bit with black socks.

These three guys are big time into axes--Jack Carr (who carried a Winkler tomahawk into battle as a SEAL), Kevin Holland (a former SEAL who carried an ax into combat as a Delta operator), and Daniel Winkler (who makes axes and knives).
