Anyone know French?

So I finally obtained a .pdf copy of perhaps the only complete book on Pieper Bayard firearms. But the downside is it's written in French.

I'm hoping Google translate will work on it.
Edit: Google translate does NOT work. It has a 10MB file size limit.

I just know with French and Spanish (maybe others), the adjective usually come after the noun they modify. The difference in word order can sometimes confuse language translators such as Google Translate.

English: White House
Spanish: Casa Blanca
French: Maison Blanche

I didn't realize you were translating an entire document. We used it successfully for a 1 pager like a menu. Maybe you can cut it down to multiple 10 Mb files?

Don't try to do the entire book at one fell swoop.

Maybe try 10 pages and see. Keep going until you find the page limit and then go step by step.

It's currently a single 100MB file. I'll see if I can break it up when I get a chance.

You should be able to use a pdf editor to chop it up into smaller files. I'd bet that the majority of the file size is allocated to the color cover page. Probably just deleting that page will get the file size small enough. If it still doesn't, just save a few pages at a time until the file size is below 10MB.
