It was just OK. I found Q39 to be much better, personally. I took some to work last year, and when we ate them, everyone raved, but I was truly embarrassed to serve them. They weren't good at all, I found them to be on-par with most commercial BBQ places - in other words, they were about like Rib Crib. So... I've refrained from taking them again, thinking maybe it was the transport, or I didn't cook them long enough, or something. But one of the ladies at work came over this weekend and brought her 19 y/o son to shoot some guns and when we were done I pulled off some ribs I'd had on the smoker all afternoon. I told her, "Remember how you loved my ribs at work, but I said they were crap?" She affirmed this, and stated she didn't know why I was so upset about the ribs I had shared, then she tried the ones I had just pulled off the smoker - and she immediately understood what I meant. I don't know if it is because my technique has just improved a bit (which it has), or the circumstances (fresh off the smoker vs 2+ hours later, wrapped in foil), or better meat these days, or what, but she "got the picture". Like I said above, I took it as a great compliment when they told me my ribs were hands' down better than Burn Co.
